Safety Standards

Currently, only few rules relating to Covid are in place:


The (FFP-2) mask requirement now only applies in grocery shops, public transport, pharmacies and at doctor´s offices.


All other rules do not apply anymore since March 5th:

  • No entry requirements
  • No restrictions in capacity
  • No general closing hour
  • Opening of night gastronomy

For entry into Austria (border crossing) the 3G rule (vaccinated, recovered or tested) has been lifted effectively from the 16th of May 2022.



Our hygiene measures:


Please only arrive at our hotel if you are healthy.

  • there are multiply disinfectant stations throughout the hotel
  • FFP2 protection/ facemasks obligatory for all our staff, also for our guests at generally accessible places
  • your tables (for breakfast and dinner) have disinfectant available for you exclusively and we serve as much food as possible by our waiters to your tables
  • all surfaces in the public area are cleaned and disinfected multiple times throughout the day
  • should you feel unwell or experience flu-like symptoms at any time, please contact the reception
  • our wellness area is big enough to keep your distance
  • on demand we can open the sauna outside of our regular operating hours

Cancellations due to Covid-19 related reasons:


If you cannot partake in your visit due to Covid-19 related reasons, your stay can be cancelled up to 24 hours before your arrival - free of charge. This applies for all stays up to the 18th of December 2022. For all other cases, our regular cancellation policy applies.


Reasons for a free cancellation:

  • Closing of the border in Austria and/or the country
  • The country of origin issues a travel warning for Austria/Tyrol
  • Austria/Tyrol is declared a risk area
  • Travelers returning have to quarantine for 10 days
  • A fellow traveller falls ill with Covid (medical certificate)
  • A fellow traveller falls ill with a covid-unrelated disease (medical certificate)


Our general cancellation policy:

  • If cancelled up to 28 days before the date of arrival will be free of charge.
  • If cancelled up to 14 days before the date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged.
  • If cancelled up to 7 days before the date of arrival, 70 percent of all nights will be charged.
  • If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 90 percent of all nights will be charged.


These policies are temporarily valid until December 18th 2022. For all stays after that, the general policy applies.
